Gravy, like 'Oil', is a phrase used to describe someone having, or at least believing to have, good betting opportunities or picks. They will commonly bellow to fellow friends or neighbors about how good their gravy is, and so that no one misses out, will typically invite them all to join the gravy train. All aboard, toot toot!
