What does YRFI mean?

YRFI stands for Yes Run First Innings and is a popular sports betting market when wagering on a game of Baseball. When betting on the YRFI market you require at least one run to be scored by either team in the first innings, this means that the score at the conclusion of the first innings needs to be any other result besides 0-0 in order for your bet to win, e.g. a first innings score of 1-0 or 1-3 are both examples of a winning YFRI bet.

Bettors may also choose to bet on the NRFI market which stands for No Run First Innings. The NRFI market requires the opposite outcome to the YRFI market, requiring no run to be scored by either team in the first innings of a baseball game.
