What does Plus-Minus mean?
Plus-Minus (or +/-, plus/minus) is used to measure a
player's impact on a game. The number is produced by taking the amount of
points/goals the
player's team scored while they were "in the game" (for example, on the field) and subtracting the amount of
points/goals the opposing team scores while the
player was in the game.
