What is Parimutuel betting?
Pari-Mutuel Betting is a system of betting in which all
bets of a particular type are placed together in a pool. As a result, taxes and the '
vigorish' are removed, resulting in the payoff
odds being calculated by sharing the pool among all winning
bets. This is common in horse racing and greyhound betting.
